STEAM Beyond Borders
The Cush Center for Learning was founded to ensure underserved students, are exposed to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M).
Our goal is to provide programs and services that encourage learning, growth and innovation among youth in the S.T.E.A.M fields—in America and around the world.
To that end, we are excited to launch the S.T.E.A.M Beyond Borders (SBB) program in summer 2018, to reinforce our mission for S.T.E.A.M, globally.
S.T.E.A.M Beyond Borders is an immersive program that seeks to connect students with S.T.E.A.M communities internationally.
The program will host 20 hand-picked high school students for a weeklong session of curated workshops with innovative tech companies in countries such as Mexico, South Africa and Amsterdam. The program will feature speaking engagements and hands on workshops to expose students to the international science and tech industry. Our mission is to expose underserved students to immersive programs that they otherwise would not have access to in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics — so join us, as we embark on new frontiers in STEAM.
